Q: What are the differences between
Treadders, Padders and Trampers?
A:
TREADDERS
brand slippers are the newest generation of
soft-sided, leather-soled slippers, and are made
under the wholly owned trademark of
Treadders.com. They offer improved fit,
more durable materials, and more attractive
pricing than their predecessors. Padders
brand and
Trampers
brand slippers were both made by Padders, Inc.
of Tonawanda, N.Y. before that company went out
of business. Though both of these earlier brands were made
by the same company and are very similar (in
design, patterns, colors, and comfort), there
are several subtle differences between the
Padders and Trampers lines of slippers. A
picture of each follows, and differences are
detailed below:
 
1. SOLES: This is the primary
difference between the three. TREADDERS and Padders brand
slippers have a suede leather sole, while
Trampers brand slippers have beaded rubber
grips. Both are durable and provide excellent
traction.
2. BRAND TAG: TREADDERS have
their brand tag sewn into the heal seam of each
slipper. Padders have
their brand tag sewn into the piping on the
sides of each slipper, while Trampers have no
visible brand tag.
3. MATERIAL: Treadders are made
with the highest quality materials available,
and are more durable than competing brands. Padders are made
with a slightly heavier fabric than Trampers.
All three hold up very well to wear and tear, though
one can expect each brand to hold up better or
worse based on the quality of materials with
which they are made.

Do you have
an EXCHANGE POLICY?
A:
Our policy is
as follows:
SIZING
EXCHANGES: A size chart is available on our
website (see graphic link on right side bar that
says SIZE CHART) to minimize the likelihood of
sizing errors. It details the sizes in which
slippers are sold, corresponding foot
measurments, and corresponding standard shoe
sizes. Please be certain to review this
information prior to placing orders. In the
unfortunate event that a customer orders a pair
of slippers and finds that a different size is
needed, the slippers can be returned (postage
paid with delivery confirmation recommended -
COD packages will not be accepted and Treadders
will not be held responsible for packages lost
by the US Postal Service) to the following

Treadders.com offers this exchange at no charge
as a courtesy to our customers and reserves the
right to withhold this courtesy as it sees fit
(for example, if a customer were to abuse the
policy).
MATERIAL DEFECT EXCHANGES: In the rare
situation in which a customer receives a pair of
slippers with evidence of manufacturing defects,
those slippers can be exchanged for a new pair
in identical style & color at no charge. Be
aware, however, that exchanges are subject to
availability and substitutions may be required
due to inventory in stock.
ALL
EXCHANGES: All exchanges must be received in
UNUSED, UNWASHED condition with UNDAMAGED
packing material within 14 calendar days of
customer receipt of order and replacements are
subject to inventory in stock. Any USED slippers
submitted for exchange will be returned to the
sender with Postage Due by customer (COD).
RETURNS/REFUNDS: Treadders.com does
not accept returns other than exchanges as
detailed above and does not issue refunds. All
sales are final. Returns sent to our
mailing address not otherwise authorized per the
aforementioned policy and not approved via email
prior to return mailing will be subject to a
minimum $7.50 Unauthorized Return Fee plus a
Restocking Fee of $2.50 per item returned.
Postage will not be refunded under any
circumstances.
